moneypit (via money pit) – We have been using Metro for several years both on our residence and investment properties. Having recently sold up and bought a converted bus to live in we engaged them to install a new hot water service in it. Steve immediately identified the unit as one that was not certified. calls to the Office of Technical Regulator confirmed this and the unit was returned to Sydney for a refund (which actually arrived). As our unit is very old he went to find a replacement part. This worked for awhile and they returned. Kirsten managed to find a Sydney business that sell the original parts and we are now hopeful that our unit will not have to be replaced. She also spent time researching various alternatives for us. The team has kept up the level of serve we have come to expect. Congratulations!!

moolissa (via truelocal.com.au) – We recently used METROPOLITAN HOT WATER & GAS SERVICES to repair our gas heater which required a part that was no longer easy to get. Kirsten was able to quickly locate the part needed from interstate and the heater was able to be repaired and saved us from having to purchase a whole new heater saving us thousands of dollars. Steve also connected our BBQ for the of our outdoor kitchen to natural gas and his expertise was offered by changing the set up to allow better use of the BBQ. Kirsten once again founding the conversion kit required. Other work that was completed was moving our gas connections when renovating the kitchen. The service provided by all staff was very reliable, professional and at extremely reasonable prices. Nothing was to much trouble and they were able to work around the installation of our new kitchen. I would hesitate in using the services again if required. I was starting to get worried as water was leaking from the roof in my kitchen. I rang Kirsten at Metrpolitan Gas and Hot Water Services at 11am on friday and by 1.30 pm the same day they had replaced my old system with a new Rinnai 16 continual flow. I chose this system thanks to the guided help from Kirsten and the cheapest price after obtaing a few other quotes. The plumbers were very pleasant and most helpful with any questions I had regarding my new hot water service replacing my old electrical unit in the roof. I recommend them regarding to any plumbing jobs you may have. They also provided an electrician to fit a new power point for the system and while he was here he installed a safety switch for me at the same time at a very reasonable cost.
